Good to be green!

Your child may have shown you a Good to be Green reward ticket this evening. This means that they have been very well behaved and have stayed 'green' all week. This entitles them to a reward such as: bringing slippers to school, a teddy or a pillow to school. This is for one day. I am proud to say that all of the class stayed green!!! Well done everyone!

Is it soluble or insoluble? What is a solution and can you dissolve large quantities of soluble solids in a liquid? Ask your child to see if they can give you the scientific explanation.

We had a blast today as we investigated the activities at Techniquest! Science week is so much fun!

A great start to Science Week with Hawthorn High Sience teachers. Children learn about acid, alkali

and neutral substances.

We even got to find out more about our topic - local mining. Ask your child about the 3 interesting facts they found.

K Nex challenge

Well done to all the teams in Willow Class for creating super strong bridges! Some stronger than others but it was tremendous fun!
